Money in Pokhara

1. Currency
- Nepalese Rupee or NPR 

2. Where to get the money?
- Automated Teller Machines are available throughout Nepal.

3. ATM
- The best places to try ATMs is around Thamel in Kathmandu and Lakeside in Pokhara where there is “ATM Lounges”

- The limits range to 35,000 rupees depending on the bank. Most ATMs charge a fee for their usage per transaction so do keep that in mind. We can withdraw multiple times with same card in multiple ATMs.

4. Credit Cards
- All major Credit cards are accepted in Nepal. These include VISA, MasterCard, Cirrus and American Express.
