Raam is an experienced and passionate yoga teacher from Rishikesh, India. His journey in yoga began at a Sanskrit Gurukul, where he received his foundational education in both Sanskrit and Yoga. He further deepened his practice by attending a transformative camp at Sivananda Yoga – The Divine Life Society, which marked the start of his yoga teaching career.
Raam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit and a Master’s degree in Yoga Science and Alternative therapies. He is also a qualified National Yoga Referee and has completed his ERYT 500, reflecting his dedication to professional growth and teaching excellence.
With several years of experience teaching Yoga Teacher Training Courses (YTTC) in Rishikesh, Raam has taught students from across the globe. His expertise spans various styles of yoga, including Ashtanga Vinyasa, Traditional Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, Mantra Chanting, Yoga Nidra, and Yogic Purification.
Raam’s teaching philosophy blends traditional wisdom with modern practices, offering a balanced approach to yoga that nurtures both the body and mind. Having taught in both India and China, he brings a global perspective to his classes, catering to students of all levels and backgrounds.
