1. Yoga Sadhana Immersion πŸ‘‰ Aug 10-16

This immersion retreat focuses on developing duration and depth. The range of practices will cover techniques from Hatha, Karma, Raja, Bhakti, Kundalini/Kriya and Jnana Yoga. The emphasis will be on repetition and reflection of a few practices rather than visiting many.

Sessions will be on and off the mat including: daily room/hall cleaning, journaling, yoga philosphy lectures, discussion, Q&A, walks, volunteer/service projects, cleanses, and research.

Though beginners to yoga are welcome, a mature spirit and positive attitude are required. This retreat is being held to find and connect with like-minded yoga aspirants willing to be guided into particular experiences and perspectives.

2. Monsoon Yoga Trek πŸ‘‰ Aug 17-23

This monsoon trek is a rare opportunity to take yoga practices - physical, energetic, and mental - into the outdoors! Be prepared to get wet and smile through it. Each day includes morning practices, stillness and reflection time on the trail, swimming (when safe to), evening practices, and bits of games and fun along the way. Breathwork, lung development, and joint practices will be emphasized.

It is monsoon, warm, humid and can’t garuntee that you will be seeing mountain at its best. If we are lucky and snow capped mountains wants to see us then that’s what I call blessings. But we can garuntee for best of nature, greenery , waterfall, swimming in natural running water, rice paddy fields, and great company of fellow solo travellers. Do join this trek if you want to experience yoga techniques applied to daily life and an immersion into nature.

3. Satyananda Yoga Foundations πŸ‘‰ Aug 24-30

Satyananda Yoga Foundations Retreat will cover all essential practices recommended by the Satyananda Yoga Bihar Yoga tradition - mantra chanting, cleanses, asana, pranayama, pratyahara (e.g. Yoga Nidra), dharana, havan, kirtan, yoga philosophy, and journaling.

The days are structured to follow principles of yogic lifestyle. Sessions will be on and off the mat including: daily room/hall cleaning, journaling, yoga philosphy lectures, discussion, Q&A, walks, volunteer/service projects, cleanses, and research.

This course will prepare the participant for ashram life and sadhanas such as the Saundarya Lahiri sadhana. A trip to the Satyananda Yoga ashrams in Bihar and Jharkand, India will take place immediately after this retreat.
