In our modern day lifestyle, we have come to realize that "health is the ultimate wealth " and to ensure healthy body and mind, we make sure that we eat, sleep and work following the law of nature. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen that way and we end of maintaining our health with pills and unnatural way. After certain point, these quick fix stops working and we start looking for alternate healing either through Yoga, Ayurveda, Meditation, Homeopathy, and various other process. But little we know about it's importance, efficacy and results in our body, mind and soul. And we end up taking these treatment without having foundational knowledge and idea about it.
Atmashree is delighted to offer this short introductory course on Yoga & Ayurveda. This course will help you understand the importance of Ayurveda treatment in accordance with time and body requirements. Neither we are offering treatment nor massage rather it's a course to understand the basics of Ayurveda and how it's works on human system and elements. We absolutely recommend this course before you take any Ayurveda treatment and learn how you can apply these principles.
In Sanskrit, Ayurveda means βThe Science of Life.β Ayurvedic knowledge originated in India more than 5,000 years ago and is often called the βMother of All Healing.β It stems from the ancient Vedic culture and was taught for many thousands of years in an oral tradition from accomplished masters to their disciples. Some of this knowledge was set to print a few thousand years ago, but much of it is inaccessible. The principles of many of the natural healing systems now familiar in the West have their roots in Ayurveda, including Homeopathy and Polarity Therapy.
Ayurveda places great emphasis on prevention and encourages the maintenance of health through close attention to balance in oneβs life, right thinking, diet, lifestyle and the use of herbs. Knowledge of Ayurveda enables one to understand how to create this balance of body, mind and consciousness according to oneβs own individual constitution and how to make lifestyle changes to bring about and maintain this balance.
